Provides an environment using digital media and the Internet
for identification of plant, insect, livestock, and disease problems.
FAWN -- Florida Automated Weather Network
Lead person: Andy King
The Florida Automated Weather Network (FAWN) is composed of 21 (expanding to 32 by January 2003)
automated weather stations located at UF/IFAS Research and Education Centers
and Extension Service Sites throughout Florida. Its mission is "to
provide accurate and timely weather data to a wide variety of users."
