TRAININGW ant to have your own Web Site? Is the mail merge in WordPerfect giving you fits? Do you need someone to point out the onramps to the 'Information Superhighway'? Chances are, IFAS Information Technologies offers training that IFAS Faculty and Staff can benefit from.
To the right is a list of currently available In-Service Training classes taught by the Information Technologies Help Desk. Follow the links for more information and current schedules for each class. Classes are taught every Thursday at the Livestock Pavilion on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville and twice a month at different locations around the state of Florida. To register, complete an Enrollment Form from the "Professional Development Opportunities Booklet," available from Program Evaluation. They are located at 2083 McCarty Hall, P. O. Box 110285, or can be reached by calling (352) 392-0386. In 1998, UF teamed up with the Gartner Learning Group to offer Faculty, Staff and Students even more training opportunities. As a result of that alliance, Information Technologies has the complete Gartner Training Video Series, available for check-out from the IT Help Desk.
